This essential vitamin is not naturally produced by the body and must be replenished for good health. Vitamin C is known for its usefulness in conjunction with other enzymes and solutions.
Health Benefits:
For the many benefits of Vitamin C, consumers are encouraged to do their independent research.
CONCENTRATION OF ASCORBIC ACID (VITAMIN C)
This particular type of Vitamin C is derived from fermented sorbitol and contains no fillers. It is completely pure.
ASCORBIC ACID (VITAMIN C) SIDE EFFECTS
Vitamin C is non-toxic, and even in cases of extreme overdose, negative side effects will rarely if ever be experienced. When these side effects do occur, they are usually mild symptoms such as upset stomach or diarrhea. If you do experience these symptoms, lower intake to less than 2,000mg daily.
If Vitamin C is taken at too high of a level, it could cause a reduction in copper levels in the body while stimulating the absorption of iron. Therefore, anyone who has some kind of copper deficiency or any condition that causes iron deposits to form in their body should consult a doctor before Vitamin C is taken. In addition, pregnant women should not take more than 60 mg Vitamin C daily, as there is a chance that the child may develop scurvy in the womb. No more than 2,000mg Vitamin C should ever be consumed daily, but if this cannot be adhered to, it is especially important not to take more than 6,000mg.
TIPS
The reason that Vitamin C is routinely used as an additive in so many different foods is because of its remarkably high levels of bioavailability. Because Vitamin C is derived from citrus fruits, it maintains quite a sour taste (even in powder form), so it is best to mix it with a fruit juice of some sort before consumption. Another alternative to the powdered form are the readily available Ascorbic Acid capsules. Of course, food cannot always be trusted alone as a reliable source of Vitamin C, since it can be so easily lost while cooking or other types of food preparatory techniques. This is why the supplement is a much more practical source.

Spirulina Plantensis is an edible food supplement version of a microscopic algae organism with a green hue. Each organism is made up of a single cell, and can be found in a variety of different watery environments including marine, tropical and saltpan regions. This version of Spirulina is completely organic and contains an abundance of nutrients, including an extensive amino acid profile.
Due to the environment that this algae is usually found in, it is able to absorb both the rich amino acids and all of the vitamins present in the water, compacting them all in the form of a single-celled organism that has potential to then be consumed to reap those benefits.
As a bonus, Spirulina acts as a great source of Vitamin B12, essential fatty acids, Beta Carotene, and Chlorophyll. Some of these elements are only present in high amounts in the diets of meat eaters, and other nutrients like Beta-Carotene and Chlorophyll act as antioxidants and are useful in helping the body get rid of toxins.

Branch Chain Amino Acids, most commonly shortened to BCAA, are made up of the amino acids L-Valine, L-Leucine and L-Isoleucine, respectively. While BCAAs are found in their greatest natural quantities in products such as red meat and many types of dairy, protein supplements synthesized from an egg base or whey are ideal for finding concentrated amounts.
These amino acids are referred to as Branch Chain Amino Acids because they have a chemical structure that separates them from the rest of the amino acid family. In addition, these BCAAs make up 40% of total body protein content and represent around 15 to 25% of total protein intake overall.
CONCENTRATION OF BCAAS
BCAA is a mixture of three essential amino acids - leucine, isoleucine and valine - that cannot be produced in the human body, however, have very important biological functions. Leucine, for instance, is crucial for muscle hypertrophy (aka may help with muscle growth) not only because it is an important building block for muscle, but also because it signals the body to start muscle protein synthesis (aka may help build muscle).
The blend of ingredients that is found to be most effective in BCAAs is a mixture of 2:1:1 of Leucine, Isoleucin, and Valine, respectively. This product contains an insignificant amount of lecithin. Supplements should be stored in an area that is both dry and cool and away from the light.
BCAAs have a grainy look and a white coloration. They are bitter in taste and are totally insoluble. The powder can be administered effectively by sprinkling on a meal, but since it is so bitter, the most common preference is to blend the supplement into some kind of smoothie or fruit-based puree.
BCAA SIDE EFFECTS
People that introduce BCAAs into their system too rapidly have reported experiencing fatigue, muscle stress and muscle pains; this should subside if introduced in smaller amounts and over time, rather than all at once. Although there are no known drug interactions associated with the supplement, it may be wise to first discuss use with a physician. This supplement should be taken in lower doses than recommended if liver and kidney issues are of a concern.
TIPS
During exercise, it is common to consume Branch Chain Amino Acids combined with a fast-release carbohydrate such as Dextrose or Maltodextrin. This is designed to prevent fatigue and thus improve athletic performance. BCAAs also stack well with L-Glutamine: together they form an unbeatable muscle-preserving duo.
SAFETY
Branch Chain Amino Acids have been well researched and are a safe supplement. We already consume them daily in our natural diet, and there is no known toxicity of Branch Chain Amino Acids. In addition, there are no known bans or restrictions in regard to supplementing with Branch Chain Amino Acids.
